Designed primarily for short-stay business executives, the pool needed to provide a refined swimming experience, yet keep within the hotel’s design philosophy of being light, bright and not overtly opulent. Delivering a 25 metre pool close to the glazing and building envelope, also posed some challenges.

The main objective for this project was to construct a pool that would be a focal point for the rooftop terrace, without detracting from the views. The swimming pool’s negative edge design was included to make the most of the available space and the extensive views.
